The warlock looks awfully wicked sick :D

Trying Ragnarok Online Once More

July 16th, 2008 | 1 Comment | Posted in Online Games

Okay, I feel pretty nostalgic and I’d like to try out ragnarok online once more. :) Since I invested money on valkyrie already I figured that I should be playing on the server.

Anyone who want’s to join me in my venture feel free to post here. I’d like to have some comrades with me and I am also asking a couple of friends to join me.

Ragnarok after 4 years still owns my heart. I have tried alot of other mmorpg’s but there is something in Ragnarok Online that just keeps me coming back. I don’t know what it is, really.

So expect blog posts about my adventures in Valkyrie’s Rune Midgard :D

I posted a guide on how to get your USB controller working with Crazy Kart. But for poeple who don’t have one here is a guide on changing the keyboard layout and controls of Crazy Kart.

First step is open your Crazy Kart directory and look for the CKsettings.exe file as shown below.

Playing Crazy Kart with a USB controller

June 23rd, 2008 | 2 Comments | Posted in Gaming, Online Games

GM Tristan posted the default controls of Crazy Kart on his blog. I’m more used to using my left hand for directional purposes and my right hand for everything else (talk Counter strike and other FPS). What I did is I crossed my arms so that my left hand would be on the directional arrows and my right hand on everything else.

I hate it though, it’s really painful to the arms after a while. So I found a solution to all your problems, well for the people with a USB controller atleast.

I found joytokey,

JoyToKey enables PC game controllers to mimic a mouse and the keyboard. It is a freeware utility which can be of great use to disabled users.

That should say everything. For the soft minded, what it actually does is emulate keyboard button presses on the joystick so it would trick the program (CK on this situation) that we are pressing left and right on the keyboard when we are actually pressing the directinoal pad on the usb controller. LOL, my explanation is actually more confusing.

I actually used this software when I was playing maplestory :D

Crazy Kart: Next game on my list

June 22nd, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in Gaming, Online Games

I’m not a big fan of MMORPG’s, they eat too much of my time and require alot of effort to be effective. I’m a big fan of racing games, since F-Zero, Mario Kart, Need for Speed, Gran Turismo etc. and have always wanted to gear up against other players.

Level-Up! is giving me an opportunity to do so, soon through their, currently in closed-beta game, CCrazy Kartrazy Kart! I’m not sure if this is the same international na racing game that I played before. But it was sure damn laggy and I probably had pings of a gazillion. But anyway, i cant wait for this game to launch or for my closed-beta account.
