iPhone to sell for (199USD)(40php/1USD) = PHP 7960
This is actually the only good news brought by the decreasing amount of the USD compared to the PHP.
199×40=7960. WTFOMGBBQ (what the fork, Oh My Golay, Barbie Cue). The iPhone used to be priced around $500 but that included (not really sure) a 2 year contract with a phone company in the US. You actually need to buy a sim unlock software that costs $30 to get it to work in the Philippines by removing the sim lock to the company that is the carrier of the phone (duh). I’m not really familiar with the lingo and the technicalities when it comes to phones and companies they are locked to, but the point is that the iPhone is damn cheaper by half. Pity those people who payed thirty thousand plus just to get their hands on one.

News is that globe will be the distributor to the iPhone in the Philippines. But the sim unlock feature is there so you won’t really be hooked to globe. ( I still love globe btw) Anyway, I will try to get my hands (and own one) and I’ll be giving my review of the product on this blog. But do I really need to?
Everyone knows the oohs and ahhs that the iPhone has given the world. I once said that it was overrated, probably a defense mechanism caused by its price and my lack of finances. But now that it is within reach, I will try with all my power to get my hands one. I mean really. The redundance in the phrases just made me realize the urgency that I have to own one.
Don’t buy one, kai ako ra ang mupalit.. hahah.. ![]()
