Ever wonder where the DotA command -rickroll came from? Well when you type the command in the game it will post messages like “never gonna let you die” “never gonna let you cry” and etc. This was inspired by Rick Astley’s Song “Never Gonna Give You Up”

It is used as an internet prank where you will be fooled to watch a certain video and the Rickroll music video will be shown instead. It’s actually quite frustratinng and is very famous on the ineternet.
